Galantas Gold Corporation (the Company) reports that it has received Exploration Licenses from the Crown Estate, for gold and silver, over an additional 464.1 sq.kms of land in Northern Ireland. The new licences are contiguous with the Company’s existing 189 sq.kms license and extend that license to the west
and north-west. The Licenses are dated 1st November 2007 and were received on 3rd December 2007.

There is Crown prerogative over gold and silver in Northern Ireland and most of the United Kingdom. The rights lie with the Crown Estate and therefore to explore (or mine) for those metals a license (or lease) is required.

A regional exploration program, called Tellus, funded by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment and managed by the Geological Survey of Northern Ireland, has produced data related to the new license areas. The data is available but is yet to be fully evaluated by the Company.
