Galantas Buys Processing Equipment for Omagh Gold Project

Omagh/Toronto, May 25, 2005 Galantas Gold Corporation announces that it has purchased the major items of processing plant for its Irish gold project at Omagh in County Tyrone. Included are the ball mill, flotation cells and a concentrate filter press. These are used pieces of equipment, considered to be in good condition and in the process of refurbishment. Together with ancillary equipment being sourced now, the complete 150 tonne per day plant is being gathered for moving onto the project site in mid-summer 2005.

The plant flow-sheet has been developed by SGS Lakefield (as reported on March 24, 2005) and is based upon early project studies by them and others. It embraces crushing and grinding run-of-mine ore from the open pit and making a bulk sulphide flotation concentrate which carries the gold and associated silver. The sulphide concentrate will be sold to a commercial smelter, two of which have made indicative offers. A gravity circuit will recover free gold for use as feedstock for the company's Galántas (tm) jewellery business.

Galantas Gold Corporation is building Ireland's first gold mine on its 189 sq km exclusive Prospecting Licence. The corporate aim is to increase the resource base on the property through exploration and mine development, to expand mine production in stages, and to add value to the Company's production by marketing and selling certified Galántas (tm) Irish gold jewellery.
